To get the rustic look our customer desired, a two-coat powder system was required. The first coat of powder was a rust-colored Acrylic Polyester – a textured powder as you can see from the photos. The Acrylic Polyester is a tough, attractive powder that demonstrates outstanding physical properties enabling it to withstand prolonged outdoor exposure. This is the coating of choice for lawn and garden furniture, as well as other types of outdoor equipment.
The second coat was a Transparent Black Polyester which gives it a nice glossy sheen. This extra coating is not only for extra protection in the outdoor elements, but also adds to the attractive rustic look of the sign. Check out how it looks after being installed.
